On Saturday 14th of September, 2019 Photography Center of Thessaloniki is organizing, in the frame of GREENWAVE FESTIVAL 2019, a photography printing workshop with the usage of sunshine by Turkish visual artist Nilden Aksoy, in an open place, in the center of Thessaloniki.
In this workshop participants are photographers-members of Photography Center of Thessaloniki.
'We'll work on a photo-printing technique that doesn't contain chemicals. We'll take the pigments from nature and use them to create images. We're going to get some unique results. All of them will be ephemeral images, which will have different endings. However the images disappear in time, this is not a process of death. It is just the transformation of life together with nature; like a flower and with a flower. Come and experience with us.'
Nilden Aksoy was born in Ankara, Turkey. She left Physics Department of Anadolu University in 2007. She went to IPT, Portugal as an Erasmus student while she was studying in photography and video program in Yildiz Technical University. She graduated from YTU in 2016. Now she is a master student in photography department in Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University.
